La Canea Living is a renovated residence of 18th century, which has been modernized both aesthetically and functionally. Our goal is to create a relaxing environment with comforts every season of the year and at the same time respect the natural environment through “green” capabilities.

our "green" capabilities
For building’ s construction we used certified, ecological materials and the stone of old masonry. With energy class A accommodation, we make sure that we have minimal losses in cooling and heating resulting in lower energy consumption. Our rooms are furnished with natural materials. We insist in naturality and that’s why we use only cotton sheets.
We take advantage of the natural orientation of the Residence for more sun and natural ventilation. We use solar energy to heat water while for days when the sun isn’t enough, there is a heat pump which needs much less energy to work (compared to classic water heater). All our lamps are led. We also clean and disinfect the premises of the accommodation with ecological cleaning products. Even the waste bags we use, are made of biodegradable- compostable materials.
In La Canea Living “green” orientation is a necessity, but also a way of life. For us, environment starts from nature to end up in our home. But it also starts with home, to make a difference in nature around us.
