The LA CANEA residences were the inspiration for the creation of a modern residence on the inherently rich island of Crete.
A place where you can relax, explore, try, enjoy, discover and of course share.
The need to combine nature and tradition with modern life on the island like a true ‘local’ has led us to the remodeling of the traditional Kallinikou Residence.

Our motto, ‘living in local style’, reflects this philosophy: ‘living’ in the full sense of the word and with the intense desire to explore and enjoy oneself ; ‘in local style’ because we have managed to combine the inspiration of the unalterable Cretan tradition and the unique period architecture with the needs of modern lifestyle.
Our aim is to make you experience the warm Cretan hospitality and, above all, feel that you are staying at a house like your home!
To feel at ease, to be yourselves and open yourself up to elements of the Greek civilization and experience enjoyable and relaxing moments at the LA CANEA residences.

The hostesses of the Residence are Christini, Aliki and Kelly.
Christrini
Looking after people, offering hospitality and entertaining guests are integral parts of the everyday life which I have chosen. Through such deep and rich emotions, I have been led to the next professional step: La Canea Living.
I was born and grew up in Crete. At 17 I left my hometown and moved to Athens for studies.
“I’ve loved Athens a lot, since it has offered me the opportunity to meet important people, have unique experiences and follow a successful career in the fields of Finance and Real Estate. Then I rejected a new professional proposal when I realised that what I really wanted was to return to my homeland, Crete, where I can relax…
In this new project I am aided by Aliki and Kelly, who are the ladies you can contact for any queries, instructions, clarifications and proposals but who will also welcome you to the Kallinikou Sarpaki residence.”.
Aliki & Kelly
Aliki and Kelly first met professionally in 2015 and since then they have collaborated directly or indirectly since their philosophies are fully compatible and this constitutes an asset and advantage for their smooth cooperation.
Their shared passion for tourism, their love for hospitality, as well as their thorough knowledge on how one can explore Chania and Crete in the best possible way are the ‘tools’ they will use to welcome you and support you in every step of your holidays: from your booking to your departure.
