La Canea Living residence is a house of 102 sqm, with two floors and two areas of gathering.
Its room has its own design and decoration, with classic and modern elements in objects, materials and textures. That’s our way to evoke the atmosphere of warm hospitality and discreet luxury.
This is a property located within the "traditional" urban fabric of the Old Town of Chania, Crete, which has been declared and demarcated as an archaeological site. The building was built before 1900 and has a traditional character, as can be seen from its form and volume which are key features of the folk architecture of the 18th and 19th centuries. The restoration studies of the building respected the history of the area and sensitively preserved its traditional elements such as stone. Thus, we have a modern residence, which however is fully in harmony with the traditional preserved settlement of the Old Town of Chania.

GROUND FLOOR

As soon as you arrive at La Canea Living, you will find yourself in a small country yard that hugs the perimeter of the house and will lead you to the reception area, on the ground floor, which also functions as a kitchen.
Our kitchen is fully equipped and invites you and your company or family to sit around the table for your breakfast.
In the kitchen you will find your Welcome Kit, which is every time different and made with love and meraki from us.
In the ground floor and next the kitchen, locates the first bedroom with a door to country yard. There you can find anything you need!

1st FLOOR

On the first floor you will find a small living room, with a comfortable sofa bed which leads to a balcony with view (Old Town of Chania) and in the background you can enjoy the sea of Koum Kapi beach, which is also a few meters from the residence. Our beloved detail is in the windows, the skylight and the view to the neighborhood. After all our motto is… living in local style!

In this bedroom the bed is double, but there is also the possibility for two single beds.

COUNTRY YARD

We are really proud for our country yard! Its long and narrow space stands out for its picturesqueness, reminiscent of the old neighborhoods where families and friends used to gather, talk, relax, celebrate and have fun.
There you will find a coffee- table for 4, modern director’s chairs in light gray and of course, the imposing olive tree that welcomes you in the morning hours under its large embrace of foliage. Last but not least, the outdoor shower enhances the vacation atmosphere, offering the feeling of freedom and freshness throughout the day.
