La Canea residence invites you to live in local style, with comfort and luxury.
La Canea Living team believes in natural beauty and minimalism. With this in mind, we renovated Epimenidou residence, which represents the beauty of simplicity and its ease of use.
As any visitor can recognize, we didn’t change anything from the historic architecture of the building. After a long research and study, we managed to restore the house of 102 sqm and two floors, through a combo of old and new, traditional and modern. In Epimenidou residence, natural materials such as wood, stone and marble stand out and are uniquely mixed to serve the textures of our decoration.
The Residence can accommodate a family with children but after our being informed and the provision of specific guidelines, due to the different levels and the presence of the staircase which connects the two floors.

The residence has two floors, two independent bedrooms (ground floor, first floor). Every bedroom has its own bathroom. The first-floor bedroom has a double bed, but there is also the option for two single beds.
All our bedrooms are comfortable, with the bed inviting you to jump in, after a relaxing bath (set of clean, well- ironed and fragrant towels are waiting for you).
On the ground floor and next the kitchen, is the first independent bedroom which has direct access to the yard, its own bathroom and everything you may need.
On the first floor you will find a small living room, with a comfortable sofa bed which leads to a balcony with view (Old Town of Chania) and in the background you can enjoy the sea of Koum Kapi beach, which is also a few meters from the residence. Our beloved detail is in the windows, the skylight and the view to the neighborhood. After all our motto is… living in local style!
EYES ON THE COUNTRY YARD
We are really proud for our country yard! Its long and narrow space stands out for its picturesqueness, reminiscent of the old neighborhoods where families and friends used to gather, talk, relax, celebrate and have fun.
There you will find a coffee- table for 4, modern director’s chairs in light gray and of course, the imposing olive tree that welcomes you in the morning hours under its large embrace of foliage. Last but not least, the outdoor shower enhances the vacation atmosphere, offering the feeling of freedom and freshness throughout the day.
